      <image:title>Home - About KR Neuro Physical Therapy</image:title>
<image:caption>We’re two gals who came together from two different backgrounds. Rashi focusing most of her career on the neurological population and Hayle passionate about proper care for pregnant and post-partum women. After working in traditional physical therapy jobs, it was evident these two worlds could connect on one thing: negligent care where therapy was not specific enough to the patients’ needs. Patients would attend visit after visit with little to no progress, frustrated they lost their time and energy and as providers, we knew we could do more. It wasn’t right for patients to feel alone or suffer silently. Thus KR Neuro PT was created to bridge this gap and have patients finally resolve the issues they felt were holding them back. We do this by focusing on the core problem and on the WHY. There are no secrets, no barriers, no misinformation but only true, authentic care that we, as physical therapists, have devoted our lives to understanding.</image:caption>

<image:title>Rashi Agrawal, PT, DPT, NCS - My professional path to becoming a physical therapist began at the University of Texas in Austin (Hook ‘Em) where I received my undergraduate and then went to the University of Southern California in Los Angeles to receive my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. It’s unfortunate that in my time in both schools, both football teams weren’t so good, but I’m letting it go. I then returned to my hometown, Houston, to pursue residency where I specialized in neurological conditions with the Harris Health System. I soon after became a board certified Neurological Certified Specialist. Since residency, I’ve worked in both inpatient and outpatient neurological and vestibular settings and have helped treat neurological impairments, chronic pain, and dizziness. I’m so grateful for every event that’s happened in my life because it’s led me here to you. Give me a call and let’s see what we can do!</image:title>

<image:title>Rashi Agrawal, PT, DPT, NCS - Neurological Certified Physical Therapist</image:title>
<image:caption>Rashi Agrawal, PT, DPT, NCS Hi! I’m Rashi and I’m so glad you are here! It’s been such a fun ride getting to this point in my journey and I’m excited to share a little more about myself. I founded KR Neuro Physical Therapy in March 2021. It was a decision I had been sitting on for a long time and finally I thought, “When’s a better time than in the middle of a pandemic?” So here we are, over a year in and the business is growing in ways I couldn’t imagine. I absolutely love helping patients get out of pain and educating them on what they can do so they can live a pain free life. The patients have become family to me, and it’s truly an honor to be in these patient’s corner rooting for them and supporting them in whatever way I can. However before we got here, I had my previous life where I was working in traditional physical therapy jobs. It was exciting to turn my long hours of studying into actual practice, but I couldn’t help but feel unfulfilled in my job. I didn’t understand why I was so disappointed in my career. I even started to believe I had made the wrong career choice. As time went on, I found myself frustrated battling insurance companies to grant patients more visits, especially since I had worked for mainly a neurological population that often required more than the generic six visits. I started to witness clinics compromise on their ideals and start double booking patients in order to keep their doors open since insurance was cutting their reimbursement rates annually. I was exhausted with how healthcare was delivered to our patients. Unfortunately I could see patients getting frustrated by their lack of success. After years of watching this scenario play out every day, I finally knew it was time to open a practice that was dedicated to providing excellent care where the focus was on what was best for the patient- not the insurance company. The mantra “I wanted to work for patients- not insurance companies,” because my driving force. When the doors opened, I was shocked to see how apparent it was that good, quality care was needed. Patients were getting better in less amount of time and finally were having their questions answered. It was remarkable to see and what has made me love the entrepreneurship road so much. I consider myself lucky that I get to advocate for patients daily while also growing this business. I grew up in a small business household and always thought my father was the planting seed for my clinic. My parents immigrated from India and settled in Houston about 45 years ago. They dedicated their life to giving their kids endless opportunities. I was lucky enough to have these opportunities which allowed me to participate in cross country, track, journalism, creative writing and dancing- all hobbies that I continued into my adult life. It was no surprise then these myriad of interests made me interested in so many things. In fact, even in college (Hook ‘Em) I had a difficult time deciding pursuing between journalism and physical therapy (I know- two majors that couldn’t be more different). While I clearly went the physical therapy route, I thank my parents daily for letting me discover all the other things I was interested because I use each and every skill to open this practice. I’ve learned to lean into all my interests and it gave me the confidence to run my business! Today I’m more committed than ever to go the extra mile for my patients and believe a personal, hands-on, and individualized approach is the best form of physical therapy. We were meant to move and feel our best, and that’s exactly what KR Neuro Physical Therapy is about. To learn more about my background, you can read a recent article published about us here.</image:caption>

<image:title>Hayle Korem - I joined KR Neuro PT so that I have the opportunity to do that! I am excited to have the ability to work one-on-one with each patient. It allows me to have a hands-on approach and provide individualized treatment for each person that chooses to trust me with their physical therapy management. I know that there are so many physical therapy options out there, but I believe that this approach is most effective. It allows for the time I need to find the root cause(s), so that I can fix the problem you are facing and empower you to carry those changes long-term. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, coaching my son’s baseball team and doing anything outdoors. My husband and I have 3 boys that keep us busy. As a family we all do Brazilian Jiujitsu. I am a purple belt and love competing in the sport.</image:title>

      <image:title>Hayle Korem - Orthopedic and Pregnancy/Post-Partum Specialist</image:title>
<image:caption>Hayle Korem, PT, DPT Hi! I’m Hayle and I can’t wait to meet you! My favorite part of physical therapy is the hope that it gives people to know that they don’t have to live in pain and can return to a healthy, active lifestyle with confidence. As a physical therapist, I hope to give each client the tools they need to improve their performance and have a better understanding of their body so that they can be completely present in the many roles they play each day! I grew up in a small town on the gulf coast of Mississippi with my entire family living within 20 minutes of me. My childhood consisted of water sports, fishing, climbing trees, and playing ball…I’m a country girl at heart. I started playing softball at the age of 4, and that took me on a long journey where I got the opportunity to play at the collegiate level. It was during this time of hard training, playing through pain, 3 surgeries, and rehabilitation that I found a love for physical therapy. I loved learning about how the body works, figuring out the complexities of various injuries, and how to heal through movement. After graduating from Mississippi State University, I took a brief break from school because who doesn’t like doing life the hard way sometimes! I married a football coach and our journey of moving around the country began. During this break I realized more than ever that my passion was leading me to physical therapy school, so that is what I pursued. I received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and began my career working in outpatient orthopedics. I then completed the course work to be a Pregnancy and Postpartum Exercise Specialist, so that I could provide specialized care for women! Although I love working as a physical therapist, I became frustrated with the “hustle” of treating multiple patients at one time and having insurance companies decide what is the best treatments for my patients. I believe everyone deserves one-on-one care, that is specific to each individual while developing trusting relationships so that I can best support each person as they live an active lifestyle.</image:caption>
